C.A.L.PR.Y.C.A is the leading poultry and agro-industrial company in Uruguay. Established in 1976, Calpryca has become recognized both for its range of high quality products as for its innovative approach to the marketing. In addition, our continued investments in new technologies and product development allows us to produce quality and very competitive products.

Calpryca: El Pollo por NaturalezaCalpryca´s vertical integration gives to us total control of quality. Our parent stock come from grandparent produced over many generations by ROSS Breeders. On Calpryca breeder farms, strict rules and precautions are followed to prevent the spread of any avian disease. Eggs are collected by hand then sent to a Calpryca hatchery. Then eggs are settled into high technology incubators to start the process. After 21 days chicks begin to hatch and are carefully placed into company´s trucks to be shipped to Calpryca´s farms until they reach processing weight. Once there they are fed with specially formulated feed mixed at our own factory, when they reach the appropriate weight (between 4 to 6 weeks of age) they are sent to our slaughtering and processing plant, after manufacturing products are sent to either distributors or Calpryca´s own chain of restaurants with 55 shops.

Calpryca: El Pollo por NaturalezaAt the same time, the company produces first quality beef mixing genetic technology with environmental ranches, obtaining 440 kg. live  cattle weight after just 16 months. Two years ago Calpryca launched "The Agricultural Development Plan" having plantations of: corn, soya bean, sunflower and wheat, all to be used as raw materials for poultry.
